Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Coordinator to assist the Group Quality Director in managing our Quality Management System. This full-time role will be based in Sligo, with travel requirements to residential services across the Northwest and western regions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven individual with experience in implementing quality systems in care environments, risk management, and regulations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the care provided meets the needs of the people we support and their safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Group Quality Director in managing our Quality Management System
- Implement quality systems in care environments
- Manage risk and incidents, and conduct reviews
- Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and inspections
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff, stakeholders, and service users
Requirements:
- Third-level qualification in health, social care, or quality management
- Experience implementing quality systems in care environments
- Knowledge of risk management, incident management, and review
- Familiarity with regulations, standards, and inspections
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently using initiative and creativity
- Excellent report writing skills and proficiency in managing records in electronic format and hard copy
- At least one year's experience working in a social care setting
- Full driving license with eligibility to drive in Ireland and access to a vehicle
- Eligibility to work in Ireland without restriction
