We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Assistant Site Manager to join a growing Retail Group as a Floating Assistant Site Manager across their retail/ service stations in North County Dublin.

About the Role:
As a Floating Assistant Site Manager, you will ensure the site operates efficiently and effectively, delivering outstanding customer service and fresh food offerings. You will take ownership of key store targets through effective management of people and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
• Oversee the efficient day-to-day running of the site.
• Maintain company standards in merchandising, presentation, and customer care.
• Achieve sales, margins, and wastage targets.
• Implement and maintain the highest hygiene standards through HACCP compliance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures.
• Manage employee rostering, leave, and maintain accurate records.
• Control stocktaking and overheads as per budget.
Team Leadership
• Lead by example and encourage teamwork.
• Train, coach, and develop the team to meet high standards.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe work environment.
Stock & Cash Management
• Full responsibility for site stock range and processes.
• Implement planograms and ensure correct product ranges.
• Perform and manage stock takes.
• Manage daily cash reconciliation, bank lodgements, and reporting.
Operational Excellence
• Handle breakdowns and system failures, organizing contractor callouts.
• Manage security issues and breaches.
Customer Service
• Deliver exceptional service and resolve customer queries effectively.
• Address customer complaints and escalate when needed.
Health & Safety
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Take responsibility for staff, customer, and contractor welfare on-site.

What we’re looking for:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a retail management role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and delegation skills.
• Passion for retail with a strong sense of ownership.
• Proven ability to meet KPIs and targets.
• Experience with reporting and data analysis.
• Full clean driver’s license and own transport.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
