Job Description
* Provide critical analysis for the monthly Board and management reporting processes including review of the results submitted by the Divisions and ownership of the related outputs with a key focus on critical trend analysis, key performance metrics and drivers of performance.
* Ownership and review of the preliminary and final budget outputs for the Group including Board and management presentations, reports and analysis.
* Preparation of briefing materials for Senior Management and Investor Relations, in particular at quarter end, providing key information on drivers of performance.
* Assistance in system developments that are required in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) for reporting purposes, liaising with the Hyperion support team.
* Review and analysis of financial reporting notes and disclosures, as part of the Group financial consolidation process.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Analyst should have:
* Strong academic background, professional record and qualification (ACA, CFA or equivalent).
* 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
* Experience working on high performing teams, ideally across different geographies.
* Good systems capabilities and/or interest in financial reporting systems; experience with HFM system would be an advantage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
* Exposure to Group reporting and processes.
