Job Title: Back Office Administrator
We are recruiting a part-time Back Office Administrator for EUROSPAR Mullingar, located on Green Rd in Commons, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
This role will be 3-4 days per week, working mornings for 3-4 hours per day.
Objective:
To ensure the office operates efficiently and professionally in line with company standard operating procedures, compiling store reports and carrying out store administration to assist the store manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Balance cash and prepare cash and cheque lodgements.
* Balance EFT reads.
* Balance individual cash drawers.
* Balance loyalty and coupon transactions.
* Enter supplier rebates.
* Complete all required paperwork and filing of same.
* Complete the cash book.
* Daily reporting of lodgements and cash movements to head office.
* Ensure adequate change on premises for floats and preparing lodgements for cash and coin.
* Balance of Payzone and Lottery reads.
* Keep customer accounts within terms, issuing statements and processing payments.
* Check irregular dockets (returns, voids, open drawers, terminations and suspensions).
* Ad hoc cash office duties as directed.
* Understand and implement company policies and procedures, ensuring effective HR & TMS store administration and liaison with Head Office HR & Payroll team.
* Educate issues to store manager as appropriate.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in a cash office and administration.
* Able to meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Good knowledge of Excel.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work on own initiative.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Able to train colleagues on all aspects of the cash office.
The estimated salary for this position is €25,000 - €30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
