Field Service Engineer Synergy Medical are a market leading supplier of medical equipment to the Irish healthcare industry. We seek to recruit a field service engineer to work alongside our existing team headquartered in Dundalk. Responsibilities Commissioning of nurse call, staff attack & wander systems Demonstration and handover Staff training Scheduled Maintenance Fault diagnosis & systems repair Emergency out of hrs call outs (minimal). Site surveys Telephone customer support Detailed documentation of all service activities. Experience Minimum of 4 years experience of electrical installations and commissioning within a similar industry such as fire alarm, lighting control, security etc. Proof of qualifications required (e.g., Trade Certificate, Diploma, Degree, completed apprenticeship, etc. Required Skillset: Excellent written and spoken English. Fully computer literate with applications such as Excel, Outlook, MS Word etc Strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent planning and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full clean drivers license. Experience of commissioning software Basic knowledge of computer networking highly beneficial but not mandatory. Up-to-date Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications Remuneration: Competitive salary: €55,000 - €65,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. 10% company pension scheme (following probationary period) Performance bonus Company van/car provided (with fuel card). Training programs for continuous professional development Additional Information The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and define this new role. As such the pay scale will at the outset be proportional to the candidates experience and ability. Remuneration will increase as the role develops offering significant opportunity for pay increases and bonuses. The successful candidate will be given a large degree of autonomy, in return it is expected they will take ownership of the role. Where overnight stays are required the successful candidate will be provided with a minimum 3* hotel with evening meal and breakfast. The role is available for immediate fulfilment, full training on all systems including overseas training with manufacturers will be provided. Opportunity to travel with customers on technical visits overseas and corporate events.
