Job Title: MEP Project Manager
Access Talent Group is supporting an international consultancy seeking a skilled MEP Project Manager to join their team in Cork.
As a MEP Project Manager, you will oversee projects from a Building Services perspective, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the maintenance and operation of all building services including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other critical systems.
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the proper functioning and longevity of building services equipment.
* Conduct regular inspections and assessments of building services to identify and address any issues or potential problems.
* Manage and oversee a team of maintenance staff, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to carry out their duties effectively.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards pertaining to building services and facilities maintenance.
* Collaborate with other departmental managers to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to healthcare operations.
* Manage the budget for building services maintenance and strive to identify cost-effective solutions and improvements.
* Respond promptly to any building services emergencies and implement contingency plans as necessary.
* Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in building services management.
Preferred Candidate Experience:
* Proven experience in building services management, preferably in a healthcare or similar regulated environment.
* In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other building services.
* Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of maintenance staff.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
* Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to building services and facilities maintenance.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively while seeking opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
* Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in building services management or a related field.
The current project has a contract for the next 18 months, with guaranteed work following with new projects in the city.
