About the Role
We are seeking a Communications Manager to develop and implement strategies that support the growth and visibility of the organisation. You will play a vital role in inspiring supporters, engaging the community, and advocating for the mission of empowering women and children impacted by domestic violence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
* Develop and execute fundraising and communication strategies to align with organisational goals.
* Collaborate across teams and represent the organisation at external events.
* Monitor and report on the effectiveness of campaigns, providing actionable insights.
Communications
* Raise awareness through innovative social media strategies and digital campaigns.
* Craft impactful advocacy and PR materials to support fundraising and community outreach.
* Manage the organisation’s website, newsletter, and podcast initiatives.
* Engage policymakers, public representatives, and influencers to amplify key messages.
Fundraising Initiatives
* Drive annual fundraising campaigns.
* Build relationships with community, corporate, and philanthropic partners.
* Create compelling grant applications and project proposals.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* A relevant third-level qualification (e.g., marketing, public relations, or business development).
* At least 2 years of experience in communications, fundraising, or a related role.
* Strong digital marketing and CRM skills.
* A self-motivated team player with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* A deep commitment to social change and gender equality.
