Clinical Nurse Manager - Tissue Viability Nurse
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tissue Viability Nurse to join our team at a state-of-the-art step-down care facility in North Dublin. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for wound care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain an efficient tissue viability service for patients, families, and the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to prevent potential tissue damage and advise on current wounds.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on wound management to healthcare professionals across the organization.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, teaching, practice development, audit, and research as agreed by the Director of Nursing.
* Lead specific projects across specialties within the organization, acting as a role model for all staff.
Requirements:
* Registered on the Live Register in the General Division of the Register of Nurses as maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
* Hold or willing to work towards a post-graduate diploma in Tissue Viability Nursing.
* Minimum 5 years post-registration experience, with at least 2 years in Tissue Viability.
* Evidence of consistent updating of clinical skills and knowledge.
* Experience of active participation within an MDT.
