The Group People and Culture Manager will play a pivotal role in the success of our business, leading the Human Resource function across the company. Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, this individual will work closely with operational division heads to drive a positive work culture and promote an inclusive, fair and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Bolster and strengthen our organisational culture, embedding our values in all aspects of our operations.
* Develop effective recruitment strategies that leverage our existing talent pool, ensuring we attract and retain top talent across the Group.
* Lead the staff performance review process, fostering growth and development among our team members.
* Provide guidance and support to divisional heads and management on employee relations and performance management matters.
* Design and deliver comprehensive induction programmes for new employees, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
* Develop and oversee learning and development programmes that align with both talent and business needs.
* Promote equality, diversity and inclusion across the Group, executing a plan that aligns with company values and best practice.
* Produce regular reports on HR, Payroll and Learning and Development, including employment law, HR policy, best practice and workforce development.
* Advise on the development of effective employment policies, creating and implementing procedures that meet regulatory requirements.
* Ensure compliance with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures, and legislation (including data protection, the Equality Act and health and safety).
* Manage the execution and implementation of a comprehensive HR strategy, covering core areas such as recruitment, employee relations, payroll, reward and recognition, and HR systems.
Requirements:
* A Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) accreditation or a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or a Business-related subject.
* A minimum 5 years' experience in a HR role, with a minimum 3 years' experience in a management position.
* Excellent knowledge of employment regulations and HR best practice.
* Vast working knowledge of all HR departmental areas, including reward and recognition, welfare, learning and development, and HR systems.
* Proven leadership experience in managing departments and teams.
