Job Overview:
The Junior Health & Safety (H&S) Advisor will support the Health & Safety team in ensuring the safety of all projects and personnel. This role involves monitoring job sites, assisting with health and safety assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and has a foundational knowledge of health and safety practices within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with conducting safety inspections and risk assessments on job sites.
2. Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
3. Support the Health & Safety team in developing and implementing safety programs and procedures.
4. Report safety concerns, near-miss incidents, and accidents to the H&S Manager.
5. Aid in training sessions on safety practices for site personnel and contractors.
6. Maintain up-to-date documentation and records related to health and safety.
7. Stay informed on new safety regulations and trends within the construction industry.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field

3. Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and best practices.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively.
5. Detail-oriented, with a commitment to thorough reporting and documentation.
6. Certification in First Aid, CPR, or other relevant health and safety training (preferred).
