Job ref: S/27/25 Job type: Permanent Location: CLC / RVLC / JDLC Salary: Scale 4 (SCP 9-13) £26,409 - £28,163 pa pro rata Quantity of Posts Available: Three Closing date: Monday 28 Apr 2025 16:00 Job summary The post holder will be responsible for the design and delivery of comprehensive, efficient, customer focused school swimming programme at a Type 1 Leisure facilities (and other agreed locations/special events) as required, in line with the needs of the service.
The post holder will be involved in the instruction, supervision and control of those taking part in classes and/or activities, always enforcing Health and Safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
The post holder will be required to positively support management and colleagues and assist in the provision of customer focused service delivery.
The post holder will be flexible to provide cover in any related duty within Sport & Wellbeing and will be required to work flexibly across and throughout the Council area, ensuring that resources are deployed effectively, in order to respond to service priorities and to facilitate professional development.
Ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in a timely and effective manner and that general confidentiality is maintained in all areas relating to the work of the Council.
