Job Description:
The Digital Content Producer is responsible for creating and managing digital content for the Northern Ireland Assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Creating website content, social media posts, and email communications
* Filming and editing video content for publication on the Assembly's social media channels, website, and intranet
* Working with the Communications Team to deliver the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission's content plans, tracking, and evaluating performance
* Publishing software graphics to enhance branding and messaging using platforms like Canva
* Maintaining the content management system used on the main Assembly website and intranet
* Providing training and guidance to colleagues on content management systems
* Ensuring regulatory compliance matters such as GDPR and accessibility are met
Requirements:
* At least a primary degree in any subject or equivalent qualifications
* Two years' experience in using camera equipment, video editing software, content management systems, online graphics software, social media management platforms, and analytics/insights
* OR GCSE/GCE 'O' level passes at grades A* to C in four subjects including English language, with four years' experience in the above criteria
Shortlisting Criteria:
* Specific 3rd level qualifications in Digital and/or Social Media Marketing or demonstrable understanding of managing digital content across multiple digital channels
