Underwriting Platform Specialist wanted for Global Insurance Group -Dublin/Hybrid
Abrivia are currently recruiting an Underwriting Platform Specialist to join our client, a Global Insurance Group, to help lead the digital transformation of underwriting processes ensuring that digital solutions are effectively planned, communicated, and implemented
The ideal candidate will have strong experience within Underwriting and will recently have been involved in a digital platform project.
Our client offers an excellent hybrid model with this role only requiring attendance in the office for occasional meetings, training, and some ad hoc events
Your Role:
1. Spearhead the underwriting processes for cutting-edge digital platforms.
2. Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital strategy and roadmap.
3. Collaborate with management and stakeholders to prioritise and optimise IT solutions
4. Lead the effort in identifying, analysing, and defining business requirements with key stakeholders
5. Grasp and prioritise steering and technical needs, effectively communicating and translating them into actionable requirements.
6. Serve as the main communication bridge between internal teams and external partners regarding Enterprise digital platforms.
7. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technical developments within Group and the local market, identifying opportunities and potential risks.
8. Assist the Portfolio Steering Team with annual corporate planning, quarterly re-forecasting, and other key tasks.
9. Monitor portfolio performance, track emerging trends, and observe external developments that may impact our business.
10. Oversee monthly and quarterly reporting, conducting thorough analysis and implementing necessary actions.
11. Identify and implement ways to enhance processes and procedures for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Your Skills:
12. Demonstrated experience as a business lead on digital platform projects, showcasing your ability to drive digital initiatives from concept to execution.
13. Strong commitment to embracing digitalisation and continuously improving the quality and efficiency of processes.
14. Demonstrates solid judgement in decision-making, ensuring effective and strategic outcomes.
15. Exceptional ability to communicate and negotiate with various stakeholders, fostering collaboration and achieving consensus.
16. Keen understanding of the commercial landscape, appreciating the interdependencies within the organisation, the industry, and the broader economy.
17. At least 4 years of experience in the insurance sector, providing a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
18. Strong knowledge and experience with digital platforms, enabling you to effectively contribute to digital transformation efforts.
