Social Media & Content Executive
We are seeking a dynamic Social Media & Content Executive to join our team. This role is at the heart of our creative efforts, focusing on building and managing engaging social media campaigns, creating compelling content, and feeding into the creative process. If you are passionate about social media, content creation, and the creative industry, this role is for you.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in social media or content creation within a fast-paced, creative environment.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation:
* Develop, manage, and execute content calendars for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice and objectives.
* Create engaging social media campaigns, including posts, stories, and reels across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
* Draft compelling copy and collaborate with designers to produce high-quality visuals and videos.
* Stay up-to-date with platform-specific trends and best practices, using insights to optimise content.
* Monitor and respond to audience engagement to foster community growth.
* Analyze social media performance metrics, providing actionable insights to enhance reach and engagement.
Campaign Support & Execution:
* Collaborate with the team to plan and implement content strategies for events and campaigns across live, virtual, and hybrid formats.
* Assist in brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas and research to inform campaign direction.
* Support the production team by providing creative input for pitches and event briefs.
Research & Development:
* Conduct R&D to identify trends, tools, and technologies in the social media and content space.
* Monitor competitor activity to uncover opportunities for innovation.
General Support:
* Assist with managing content-related budgets and project timelines.
* Help produce post-campaign reports to evaluate success and inform future strategies.
* Provide administrative support for marketing-related tasks as needed.
Tools & Platforms
* Experience with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent content creation platforms.
* Familiarity with social media scheduling tools like Buffer, Later, or similar.
* Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or similar.
Experience & Skills Required
* Minimum 2 years of experience in social media or content creation, ideally within a creative environment.
* Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences.
* Basic understanding of branding and communications strategies.
* Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to handle tight deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
Bonus Points For:
* Experience with HubSpot or other CRM tools.
* Proficiency in video editing software.
* An understanding of SEO principles as they relate to social content.
* Interest in the latest trends in technology, VR/AR, or emerging social platforms.
Working Hours
The successful candidate will work from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility to work outside regular hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required in the lead-up to key events or campaigns.
