Job Description:
This position is responsible for maintaining and improving the site's engineering standards, ensuring compliance with regional technical requirements.
The successful candidate will undertake a range of duties on site, providing technical support, coordinating repairs and upgrades, conducting plant inspections and maintenance of documentation.
Maintaining contact with suppliers and supporting production in investigating and analyzing the cause of failed runs or poor quality are also key aspects of this role.
Additionally, monitoring the technical and cost progress of investment projects is essential to the success of this position.

Requirements:
An Engineering degree in Mechanical/Process or Polymer Engineering is required, along with experience in manufacturing process management and complex project coordination.
Notable experience in a maintenance and/or engineering role is also essential.
Physical Demands:
The employee will regularly stand, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Specific vision abilities may require close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic chemicals, and fumes or airborne particles.
