Senior Electronics Engineer | Medical Devices
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative medical technologies that make a real difference in healthcare.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and developing cutting-edge medical devices, providing high-quality and innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead circuit-level hardware design, including architecture, component selection, schematic entry, and board bring-up.
2. Interface with hardware peripherals, such as sensors and motor drivers.
3. Collaborate with software, mechanical design, and system engineering teams.
4. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including UL, IEC, and FDA.
5. Conduct FMEA analysis to resolve product failures and enhance design integrity.
6. Develop and execute test procedures in line with IEC 60601 and ISO 13485 standards.
7. Provide technical expertise in EMC testing, AC/DC and DC/DC converters, and firmware development.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering or a related field.
* A Master's degree is preferred.
* At least five years of experience designing and testing analog and digital circuitry.
* A strong background in microprocessors, circuit simulation, and modular system design.
* Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN in an embedded environment.
* Familiarity with electrical drawing packages such as SolidWorks Electrical, Eplan, and AutoCAD Electrical.
* Experience in the medical device industry is an advantage.
