Role Overview
As the Assistant General Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the seamless running of the property. This is a hands-on role where you will be actively involved in all aspects of the business, including service, operations, and guest relations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the General Manager in all aspects of daily operations.
* Lead by example with a hands-on approach, assisting in service, bar, and front-of-house duties as required.
* Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high service standards and attention to detail.
* Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver top-tier hospitality.
* Oversee reservations, guest interactions, and VIP experiences.
* Assist with financial management, cost control, and achieving revenue targets.
* Uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with all policies.
Candidate Requirements
MUST have the right to live and work in Ireland
Proven experience in a similar managerial role within a high-value or luxury property.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and remain hands-on in various departments.
Physically fit and able to meet the demands of a busy hospitality environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy periods as required.
