Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Manager for a food manufacturing and supplier company based in Tipperary. This is a permanent role based predominantly on site.
This person will support the implementation and management of the food safety & quality management system. The ideal candidate will have a degree in science, food or a relevant discipline with 2-5 years' experience in a food manufacturing facility in a similar or specialist role.
Responsibilities:
* Liaise with customers on product specifications and quality, ensuring compliance with customer satisfaction.
* Liaise with operational management on all quality issues in product specifications.
* Manage all customer quality audits and visits.
* Liaise with suppliers, including regulatory authorities.
* Support the continuous improvement of plants and facilities.
* Lead customer and regulatory audits.
* Act as HACCP, TACCP & VACCP lead.
* Drive food safety and quality culture.
* Support CAPA work for internal and external customers.
* Approve process changes.
* Investigate customer complaints.
* Manage documentation.
* Conduct root cause analysis to resolve quality issues.
* Deputise for technical manager as needed.
