The Client and overview of the Role: My Client are a Midland-based Main Contractor that have been trading circa 40 years.
They have an annual turnover in the region of €40m which they are looking to increase.
over the next few years, as they take on more Commercial projects.
They have numerous live projects in the Co. Kildare, Laois, Offaly and Tipperary and focus on these locations.
They are involved projects for; housing, apartments education, sports, commercial builds.
You'll be working as part of a team and may also also be responsible for producing As-Built drawings plus various other documents for Technical Submittals (Irish Water, ESB, Local Authorities etc.).
We're open to receiving applications from experienced Site Engineers/Senior Site Engineers with extensive Setting-Out experience, using Total Stations, in Ireland.
Main responsibilities will include:
Working closely with on-site and off-site management teams to set-out the project.
Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate.
Check shuttering, steel and other dimensions prior to concrete pours.
Liaise with subcontractors, clients and internal teams to ensure that program targets are met/exceeded where possible Produce As-Built drawings and manage technical submittals for utilities, local authorities etc.
Come up with solutions to problems, where necessary.
Oversee quality control and health and safety on site.
Maintain materials reconciliation files.
Requirements:
You'll have a good attitude to work, taking pride in what you do and enjoying working as part of a team.
Decent communication skills + strong attention to detail and able to work on own initiative.

Previous Engineering experience working on Residential or Commercial projects.
Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
1+ years experience as a Site Engineer/Senior Site Engineer with a Main Contractor or Residential Developer.
Experience using setting out equipment - Eg.
total station, GPS and laser levels.
Knowledge of temporary works coordination.
