The Project
Our client is Ireland’s national regulated water utility firm and is responsible for providing water and wastewater services throughout Ireland. Reporting to a project manager and working across the project/programme team, the project coordinator’s focus will be on supporting project/programme delivery. Through a multidisciplinary approach and close liaison with both internal functions and external service providers and stakeholders, the project coordinator will help to ensure that projects/programmes are delivered safely, to the necessary quality standards, on time, and to budget. Sustainability and innovation targets will be a vital part of project and programme deliverables.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
1. Enhancing and managing the ROL (Road Opening Licences) guidance and controlled documents.
2. Managing day-to-day B.A.U. activities including finance, project set up, SharePoint, ROL queries, and escalations.
3. Providing ROL system training and support to project managers and contractors.
4. Contributing to regular reviews of contractor compliance, performance, and KPIs across the delivery programmes.
5. Other duties as required.
Requirements
You’ll need to have:
1. Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and analyze problems and potential improvements, and propose and implement solutions.
2. Relevant third-level qualification.
3. Experience in the water, utilities, or similar industries is desirable.
4. Driving licence and vehicle is desirable.
5. Happy to attend the office as required.
6. Highly motivated individual, working to the highest professional standards and with proven ability to deliver results within a team.
Additional Skills
You’ll also have:
1. Demonstrated adaptability and the ability to change focus and direction in line with business strategy and requirements.
2. Degree within a related field such as business management, project management, civil engineering, or business administration.
3. Proactively identifying new areas of improvement and using newly gained knowledge and skill on the job.
4. Experience in developing and forming relationships with other stakeholders within projects.
