Marketing Manager Role Overview
This is an exciting new opportunity with a long-established financial services company based in Dublin. The company has been trading in Ireland for over 75 years and has ambitious growth plans within its target markets.
The Marketing Manager role is the first of its kind in the organisation and offers the opportunity to develop a marketing function, strategy, and plan from the ground up. It is an ideal opportunity for a Marketing Specialist or Marketing Executive to take the next step in their career.

Financial Services experience is not necessary for this role, though some experience in a regulated sector would be beneficial.

Qualifications and Experience:
A degree in Marketing or a business-related degree is required. 3-4 years' experience working in marketing, with good all-round practical experience and experience of digital, is also necessary.
Responsibilities as Marketing Manager:
* Digital Marketing Strategy:
o Work with different business units to understand the business and goals, including revenue and operational objectives.
o Develop a digital marketing strategy for the target market that aligns with the business goals, including social media, content, email marketing, and advertising strategies.
o Define SMART marketing goals that align to business goals.
o Identify key marketing metrics to measure ROI on digital marketing campaigns and efforts.
o Define and prioritise an implementation roadmap for the new strategy.
* Process Management:
o Define, set up, and manage the processes required to implement the digital marketing strategy, including blog calendars, social media calendars, campaign schedules, and website updates.
o Research and recommend tools required to support the implementation and measurement of the digital strategy that align with the roadmap.
* Vendor Management:
o Manage third-party vendors and partners involved in implementing digital marketing strategy, ensuring they are fully aware of and agree to schedules and that they deliver on time and within budget.
* Social Media:
o Research and identify the best social media channels that align with goals.
o Plan, manage, write copy, and schedule social media posts for blogs, company news, promotions, etc., that align with brand voice and brand messaging.
o Create optimised graphics for social media that align with brand guidelines and best practice, e.g., Canva.
o Monitor social media channels and respond to messages, etc.
* Reporting:
o Production and presentation of a monthly report showing the business impact/ROI on tasks executed during the month.
o Identifying what worked well and what didn't.
* Digital Marketing Campaigns:
o Plan and manage the implementation of digital marketing campaigns that align with business goals – both revenue and operational goals.
o Develop compelling email campaigns to drive engagement and conversions with target audiences.
o Identify new opportunities for growth and plans on how to implement.
* Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, e.g., GDPR.
* Events and Tradeshows:
o Plan marketing events or tradeshows.
o Plan and manage the digital and print content required.
* Marketing Assets:
o Create marketing assets as required, e.g., flyers, ad graphics, etc.
