Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with at least 5 years’ experience working in a construction company. This role is suited for a professional who excels in cost management and has a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, and tender submissions.
2. Measure and value works on-site, including interim valuations and final accounts.
3. Provide accurate cost reporting and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
5. Ensure compliance with contractual and financial obligations.
6. Assist in dispute resolution and risk management.
Requirements:
1. At least 5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within a construction company.
2. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
3. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
4. Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
5. Proficient in cost management software and MS Excel.
