The Management Accountant plays a pivotal role in supporting senior management across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Disseminate financial information to all departments and senior management teams.
* Maintain the integrity of accounting software and contribute to its future development.
* Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and compiling reports for senior management.
* Contribute to developing and managing financial systems and policies.
* Analyse costs and revenues to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
* Ensure Revenue compliance across all aspects of the business.
* Contribute to facilitating the annual audit.
* Develop expertise and provide support on specific construction finance issues.
* Support the payroll function.
Experience Required
* 3-5 years of accountancy experience, preferably within the construction sector.
* Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
* Proficiency in IT, including MS Excel and accounting software.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks.
* Team player with ability to take direction and work independently.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
