Analog Mixed Signal Verification Engineer
The successful applicant will work in a cross-functional international team of highly skilled and results-driven engineers of different disciplines, and effective communication is a key attribute here. The overall goal is to continue to develop and apply industry-leading mixed signal verification methodology primarily by applying relevant digital verification techniques to mixed signal verification challenges.
Responsibilities:
1. Development of efficient mixed signal models using state of the art techniques.
2. Development of sophisticated mixed signal testbenches that leverage digital verification techniques to address mixed signal challenges.
3. Definition and implementation of mixed signal tests that optimally address the risks inherent in aggressive mixed signal IC development.
4. Working closely with architects, designers, and test engineers throughout project cycles to ensure that mixed signal verification effectively complements other project activities.
Minimum Requirements:
1. BSc or BEng (or equivalent) in Electrical or Electronic engineering (or similar).
2. Experience within a semiconductor company either in mixed signal design or digital/mixed signal verification.
3. Knowledge of digital or mixed verification techniques.
4. Familiarity with the Cadence Analog Design Environment, ideally using the AMS simulator.
5. Experience developing behavioral models of mixed signal systems.
6. Basic understanding of analog circuits with an emphasis on analog power circuits, voltage references, current references, LDOs, DC/DC converters, etc.
7. Understanding of mixed signal IC development risks, including interface issues, modelling strategies, etc.
8. Strong problem-solving ability, being able to both leverage existing knowledge effectively and also learn new tools/techniques where needed.
9. Good communication skills, in particular the ability to effectively work in cross-disciplinary teams, and adapt to dynamic development environments.
10. Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal English language proficiency required.
