Assistant Accountant Permanent Role
Based in Stamullen, Co. Meath.
Salary and Benefits:

Duties:
1. Process sales orders, customer billing invoices, customer returns, and receipts.
2. Maintain and set up customer accounts details on the accounts system and logistics system.
3. Review and monitor customer agreed pricing updates on the system.
4. Analyse aged debtor data and implement credit control measures.
5. Manage monthly direct debits, coordinate with transportation providers for on-time delivery, and monitor shipment tracking.
6. Deal with customer queries, perform bank reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
7. Process purchase orders, returns, and stock invoices.
8. Involve in stock management and forecasting, coordinating with the warehouse for monthly/quarterly/yearly stock take.
9. Update and maintain stock valuation reports, ensuring accurate product prices on the system and relevant reports.
10. Act as a point of contact for stock queries from sales reps, internal departments, and wholesalers.
11. Complete VIES, Intrastat returns, PSUR, and other required company returns.
12. Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Posting journals, reconciling, and analysing nominal accounts for management reporting.
* Involve in month-end closing procedures and ensure adherence to deadlines.
* Provide cover and answer AP & AR queries.
* Collaborate with the warehouse and cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and optimise operations.
* Lead change management efforts for successful technology and process adoption.
