In this role, you will support the development and delivery of the consumer communications strategy for Bord Bia at home and abroad and work to ensure Bord Bia receives effective coverage and profile in line with the organisation’s mission. What you’ll doDevelop and execute integrated communications strategies across key projects, including Bloom and Bord Bia’s domestic consumer campaigns.Manage relationships with external agencies, including PR, digital marketing, photography, videography, content production, copywriting and media buying partners.Manage communications aspects of Bloom, working closely with internal teams such as paid media, digital, operations, and event content management; and collaborate with the ticketing partner’s marketing team.Oversee sponsorship activation and management.Oversee Bord Bia’s B2C social media channels.Manage and coordinate influencer marketing initiatives to support both event-based and ongoing consumer campaigns.Deliver reactive communications plans to support various sectors within Bord Bia.Attend regular work-in-progress (WIP) meetings, planning sessions, and operational discussions. Provide project support to the Head of Communications as needed.Manage and mentor a graduate.Manage budgets effectively and coordinate evaluation reports, performance audits, and campaign assessmentsEmbed adherence to the One Bord Bia Operating Model.Note: This role will also require on site management and support at Bord Bia Bloom, June Bank Holiday Weekend, Phoenix Park, Dublin from 26 May - 2 June 2025. About You Essential Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities Knowledge:Bachelor degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or another related field.Strong knowledge of Ireland’s media landscape, including traditional and digital channels.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a communications or marketing role.Skills & Capabilities:Strategic Communications Expertise: Ability to develop and execute integrated communications strategies across multiple projects and campaigns.Project & Event Management: Strong capability in overseeing the comms element of large-scale consumer events, including media and stakeholder coordination.Social Media & Digital Marketing: Experience in managing B2C social media channels, influencer partnerships, and digital marketing campaigns.Agency & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage external agencies, internal teams, and strategic partners.Budget & Performance Management: Experience in overseeing communications budgets and evaluating campaign effectiveness.Strong Writing & Content Development: Ability to craft compelling narratives, briefing documents, and reports.Flexibility & Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities Knowledge:Understanding of Ireland’s food and drink industry.Skills & Capabilities:Paid digital advertising experience is advantageous.Experience of Public Sector is advantageous.Growth mindset for continuous learning and improvement.Prioritisation skills for an agile focused approach.Strategic thinking and an insight-led approach to ensure effective decision making.
