Role Purpose
1. The Credit & Collections Specialist is responsible for cash collection, reconciliation, issue resolution, and analysis across multiple currencies and payment methods.
2. You will be responsible for resolving issues on held invoices through effective cross-functional relationships.
3. Your analytical skills will be used to review payments and reconciliations. You will also manage a shared mailbox, handling a wide variety of requests and queries.
Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:
4. Achieve collection targets and drive continuous improvement of aged debt.
5. Help resolve customer queries in a timely manner.
6. Conduct daily collection calls to customers to ensure the portfolio of customers is contacted.
7. Attend debt In query meetings with stakeholders to drive resolution of queries.
8. Maintain regular communication with business units on customer queries to ensure timely collection of debt.
9. Establish and build relationships with customers to ensure the smooth running of accounts.
10. Maintain customer master data.
11. Assist with month-end tasks (ad hoc)
12. Document processes and keep documentation up to date.
13. Offer ad-hoc support to the Finance Team as required (audit queries).
We Are Looking For You, If You Have:
14. Minimum 3 years cash collections experience
15. Intermediate Microsoft Excel ability.
16. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
17. SAP (or similar ERP) experience.
18. Excellent communications skills
19. Ability to work in an organized manner.
20. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities.
