About the Role:
The “Talent Acquisition Specialist” will be responsible for driving the company's talent acquisition strategy and ensuring that we attract and retain top talent. This role will work closely with senior management to develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies that align with the company's mission, values, and culture. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for creating a positive candidate experience and building a strong employer brand that positions us as the best company to work for worldwide.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy to attract top talent to our organisation while always aligning with Glengarra’s strategic goals and values.
* Develop and implement innovative recruitment and retention strategies that attract and retain top talent. Assist management to drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
* Develop and maintain an active CRM and manage the integration of all prospecting clients and resources for active engagement of hiring for project positions.
* Responsible for 360 recruitment on placement of suitable professionals with clients relative to the company’s specialist areas of service.
* Conduct full-cycle recruitment processes including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, reference checks, background checks, and job offers and negotiation of terms.
* Responsible for resource acquisition where required for proposals on Glengarra scope of work and project scope engagements with clients.
* Identify and leverage technology and social media tools to enhance our talent acquisition efforts including LinkedIn posts, job posts, newsletters, and communications. Utilize social media and other sourcing techniques to identify and engage with potential candidates.
* Analyse recruitment data to measure the effectiveness of our strategies and identify areas for improvement by staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices in talent acquisition and retention.
* Manage the applicant tracking system and ensure data integrity and compliance with hiring policies and procedures.
* Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on recruiting and hiring processes.
* Promote and communicate our company culture and values to potential candidates and employees.
* Conduct phone screens, in-person interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidates’ qualifications and fit.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in our applicant tracking system.
* Develop and maintain relationships with universities, recruitment agencies, and other talent sources.
Requirements:
* Minimum three years of experience essential.
* Background in supporting CAPEX projects for large industry linked to technical engineering, construction, and project management related disciplines beneficial.
* Experience bringing candidates and clients through the recruitment process in an efficient and professional manner.
* Proactive and dynamic approach to recruitment and business development.
