The Finance & Accounting department manages all aspects of our financial operations – from cash management to financial reporting. Being part of this team means playing a fundamental role in how our business operates.
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and excellent communicator with previous experience in administration to join our Finance & Accounting Team. As an Accounts Assistant you will make sure that all our invoices are paid on time and queries are resolved in order to keep our suppliers happy. You will need to reconcile or investigate any discrepancies on supplier accounts and perform other accounting administrative tasks as required.

What you'll do
1. Manage a high volume of supplier account queries through liaising with external suppliers and internal business units to ensure all outstanding queries are resolved promptly and within SLAs
2. Reconcile, investigate and resolve any discrepancies which are created when invoices are entered into the accounting system to ensure all invoices are processed without delay
3. Efficiently input and process payable invoices into the Lidl accounting system within SLA’s
4. Carry out other general administrative duties as required
What you'll need
5. Third-level degree beneficial but not essential
6. Minimum 2 years of administrative / office experience
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
8. Experience of general enterprise accounting systems (i.e. SAP) is beneficial
9. Excellent problem solving, communication and time management skills
10. Flexible with the ability to work under pressure

11. €35,500 rising to €48,000 after 3 years
