Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Administrator.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process supplier invoices & customer receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
* Liaise with suppliers/customers regarding queries on accounts, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues.
* Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
* Take responsibility for stock take and management, maintaining accurate records and optimizing inventory levels.
* Collections of debtor accounts, following up on outstanding payments to minimize delays and optimize cash flow.
* Organize the annual stock take, ensuring seamless execution and minimum disruption to operations.
* Develop and implement company budgets, forecasts, and budgetary controls to drive informed decision-making and financial discipline.
* Prepare for annual accounts, collaborating with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
* Manage payroll, VAT, and Revenue returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management, adapting to changing priorities and needs.
The Ideal Candidate:
* 1+ years' experience in a similar role, such as Office Administration, with a strong background in accounting and finance.
* Proficient in Sage, Excel, and Word, with excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
* Able to work collaboratively as part of a team while also working independently with minimal supervision.
This is a full-time position based in Tralee town. Salary will be discussed during the interview process and will be commensurate with experience, within the range of €23 – €25,000.
