We are currently recruiting for a Reservations Executive at The Athlone Springs Hotel.
The Role: Responsible for managing reservations efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth booking experience.
The Ideal Person: The ideal Reservations Executive is self-motivated, organised, and able to prioritise tasks effectively. They possess excellent customer service skills and a good understanding of the hospitality industry. Familiarity with Hotsoft is a plus.
Responsibilities:
* Manage telephone and email enquiries.
* Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue.
* Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients.
* Ensure that all business leads and opportunities are followed up in a timely manner including enquiries and provisional bookings.
* Ensure bookings are guaranteed and no show charges/late cancellation charges are applied where appropriate.
* Deal with all clients in a professional and friendly manner.
* Use onsite computer systems including Hotsoft.
* Liaise regularly with relevant managers in relation to reservations.

Experience:
* Previous hotel experience.
* Experience of hotel PMS Systems with Hotsoft an advantage.
* Ability to maximise revenue by converting enquiries, recognising business prospects and upselling.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Good time management skills.
* Ability to work in a high-pressured environment whilst maintaining a positive attitude.
* A highly organised person with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
