The Role
The Compliance Finance Manager will oversee the management of our finance function, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Payroll.
They'll also be responsible for cashflow management and forecasting, ensuring statutory compliance with PAYE, VAT, Corporation Tax, R&D Tax, Customs, and Plastic Packaging Tax.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a busy finance function, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Payroll.
* Cashflow management and forecasting.
* Ensure statutory compliance (PAYE, VAT, Corporation Tax, R&D Tax, Customs, Plastic Packaging Tax etc).
Requirements
Qualified accountant or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of relevant experience working in a busy finance department
Experience of liaison with external auditors and external tax advisors in completing annual financial statements
Strong financial accounting experience and financial modelling skills, including use of pivot tables and data manipulation
Structured and organised individual with good communication skills
Liaison with brokers around general insurance and credit insurance policy administration and claims
Experience in people management or desire to develop in this area
