Key Responsibilities
* Plan and prioritize workload to meet departmental targets, ensuring sufficient work for employees at all times.
* Supervise, manage, and develop employees in performance, quality, and delivery of service.
* Solutions-oriented, responding promptly to issues and identifying areas for improvement.
* Assist employees with tasks by providing advice, information, and support as needed.
* Coordinate, supervise, and perform transportation, turning, or moving of crane sections as required.
* Ensure quality components leave the department meeting standard requirements.
* Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
* Manage employee relations issues that may arise.
* Communicate and collaborate with production departments and supporting areas like Health & Safety, Human Resources, Engineering, and Quality.
* Promote highest standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security by implementing guidelines.
* Act as interim Paint Shop Foreman when necessary.
Requirements
* Qualifications: Painter or similar apprenticeship, or relevant 3rd-level engineering qualification.
* Experience: 1-2 years in production supervision.
* Skills: Excellent planning, organization, interpersonal, communication, and people management skills.
