AtkinsRéalis is a leading provider of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland.
We are seeking to recruit a Field Engineer with 5+ years of relevant experience in Site Supervision activities for a position within various counties throughout Ireland (Nationwide).
Candidates will be seconded into a client office/site to work on capital projects in the water and wastewater sectors. Those with suitable experience interested in similar positions elsewhere nationally can also apply and may be considered for future positions.
Responsibilities:
* Delivering a programme of projects across a wide geographical area on behalf of Uisce Éireann, focusing on health & safety, time for delivery, cost management, and quality standards.
* Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with contract documents (works requirements).
* Verifying materials and workmanship meet applicable specifications and testing requirements.
* Monitoring and reporting on works progress to Employer's Requirements.
* Informing employers, project managers, and Uisce Éireann of site issues.
* Implementing Uisce Éireann safety policies and standards on construction projects.
* Reviewing and commenting on project/site specific HSQE documentation (RAMS, TMP, etc.).
* Maintaining compliance with contract health and safety requirements and contractor proposals.
* Conducting weekly documented health and safety site reviews, follow-ups, and close-outs.
* Reporting any site accidents or incidents to Uisce Éireann and assisting with accident investigations.
* Participating in Uisce Éireann's HSQE team monthly inspections and confirming issue close-outs.
