Vendor Analyst Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Vendor Analyst to join our team for a 6-month hybrid remote contract, with two days per week spent onsite in Dublin City Center. As a key member of our vendor management team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key vendors, ensuring effective contract management, and driving cost-efficiency across our vendor network.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
* Act as the primary point of contact between the company and vendors for day-to-day operational issues.
* Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Procurement, Finance, Operations) to ensure alignment with vendor agreements and contractual obligations.
* Monitor and assess vendor performance, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
* Analyze vendor data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
* Assist in contract negotiations and ensure timely renewals.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 2-3 years of experience in vendor management or procurement.
* Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in Excel and vendor management software.
* Experience working in an IT environment (Insurance or healthcare experience is considered a plus).
