AC Marriott Belfast Chef de Partie Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at AC Marriott Belfast. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within your specialty.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within your specialty.
* Managing and training demi-chef de parties or commis working with you.
* Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus.
* Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and following health and safety regulations.
* Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
Requirements:
* Great cooking skills and a deep understanding of different ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques.
* A cool head and ability to work well under pressure.
* Ability to delegate tasks appropriately to team members.
* Strong organisational skills to manage your section effectively.
* Commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
