Total Source is looking for a professional, self-motivated person with excellent communication skills to join our team as a Retail Assistant. This role involves undertaking all sales and retail duties.
This is a full or part-time position for a suitable candidate. The ideal candidate should be computer literate, with knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and SAP B1, although this is not essential. Retail experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be offered. This is a shop-based job, Monday to Friday, selling mostly workwear and PPE such as trousers, work boots, safety glasses, etc.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Welcome customers into the store and assist them with their needs
* Monitor and coordinate deliveries
* Maintain stock levels on the shop floor and process customer orders
* Maintain and update purchasing records
Essential Skills for this role:
* A self-motivated individual with a professional and mature attitude
* Good communication skills and fluent use of English
* An experienced all-rounder with a can-do attitude and a pleasant personality, willing to assist in all situations that can arise from day to day
