The Gold Coast Holiday Golf & Sports Resort (part of the GN Hotels & Resorts) is currently recruiting for three chef positions (for commencement in early 2025).
The Gold Coast Holiday Golf and Sports Resort is located overlooking the ocean on a 100 plus-acre footprint. The Resort comprises a New 19 Unit Apart-hotel, 60 Self-Catering Holiday Homes, a 4* Caravan and Camping Park, a Sports Training Facility with 22,000sq m all-weather pitch, a Leisure Centre, the Bunker and Dugout Bar, and the Bay and Towers Function/Events Suites.
Main Purpose of the Job
Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of a high level of food production for menu items in accordance with standards and plating guide specifications.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Oversee daily operations and ensure seamless service during busy shifts.

5. Develop innovative menus and food presentations.
6. Ensure the highest food quality, sanitation, and safety standards.
7. Collaborate with the Head & Second Chef on kitchen operations, purchasing, and storage.
8. Prepare and present exquisite dishes that elevate the guest experience.
9. Lead the team in providing outstanding guest experiences.
10. Monitor and maintain service standards, addressing any issues proactively.
11. Empower the team to deliver exceptional service consistently.
12. Meet and exceed performance and financial targets.
13. Organise and plan kitchen operations to achieve business objectives.
14. Support staff development, training, and career progression.
