Position SummaryMaternity Cover - 12 months -FTC
The successful candidate will assist the Global L&D Finance operations and APAC Operations Controller in regional logistics & supply chain cost reporting.
The role requires the incumbent to be able to identify, investigate, understand and articulate trends.
The successful candidate will need to be able to illustrate a proven ability to mine large volumes of data and present that in a form that can aide analysis and decision making.
In doing so, the ideal candidate will need to work using own initiative to enhance existing and develop new reporting.
Must be able to work onsite in the Athlone, Co. Westmeath Office for 3 days per week.
Liaise with APAC country finance and operations teams to track accurate activity-based forecast informationPreparing APAC monthly close reports and variance analysisMonthly tracking of APAC cost saving initiatives on transport, warehouse and Purchase Price VarianceTracking of monthly APAC freight transport cost by mode/destination and working with Operations to extrapolate the data into forecastsParticipate in the preparation and consolidation of the APAC Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and ForecastingPrepare Purchase Price Variance (PPV) analysis and cap & roll lines within APAC Profit & Loss (P&L)Prepare APAC consolidated balance sheet flux reportsPrepare annual standard cost roll within the APAC region and support the accuracy of the sending/receiving site transfer pricesAssist in the consolidation of Global reports to include month end, forecast, strategic and AOP cyclesConsolidation and submission of global supplemental schedules to FP&A in a timely mannerAssist EMEA Controller with Freight and Damages analysis on a monthly basisSupport continuous improvement of reporting through consistent application of SAP to Hyperion mappingDrive standard processes for reporting in line with other global groupsEducation / Experience RequirementsMinimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within a multinational environmentRelevant Third Level Degree & Qualified CIMA, ACCA, CPA, Chartered AccountantStrong Excel spreadsheet and modelling skillsGood analytical and problem solving skillsStrong sense of discretion and confidentialityExcellent verbal and written communication skills, Fluency in English is a must have requirementTrack record of audit compliance both internal and externalAbility to multi-task and deliver timely and accurate work productSpecialized Skills / Other RequirementsKey Relationships/Interfaces Global FinanceGlobal L&DDemand PlanningBehaviours/Values: Flexible and AdaptableGood organizational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivityAttention to DetailTeamwork and IntegrityNote: As with all positions, due to the dynamic nature of Teleflex Medical business, key responsibilities will evolve and change over time.
