The Financial Controller is responsible for the overall draft management, financial analysis, and review process for all OFS entities on an ongoing, monthly, and annual basis. The focus of the Financial Controller is to provide efficient and effective management of the finance operation in relation to the coordination, recording, and reporting of all financial activities and consolidation.
The role reports to the Group CFO.
Key Responsibilities
1. Review of monthly consolidated accounts and related reports.
2. Review of monthly entity management accounts and completion where required.
3. Prepare, review, and present monthly KPIs and job costing reports.
4. Review and approve payrolls in various currencies.
5. Preparation of year-end audit file and liaison with auditors for all group entities.
6. Ensuring all OFS entities satisfy statutory, tax, and other compliance returns and are completed on time.
7. Liaise with our US tax advisors to complete the annual tax returns.
8. Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives and various financial and operational projects within the OFS Finance team.
9. Provide operational support including customer bids, project costings, and contract reviews.
10. Support management team on financial decisions/projects.
11. Other ad-hoc duties.
Requirements
1. 5 years+ post-qualification experience (in a fast-paced multi-national environment).
2. Qualified ACA / ACCA is not essential but is of benefit.
3. Ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver accurate results while working in a fast-paced environment.
4. Team player with strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
5. Strong knowledge and understanding of IT and payroll systems.
6. Good understanding of cost allocation and review.
7. A proven ability to be solution-focused, thinking laterally, and innovating at every step.
8. Strong and transparent communicator with a proven ability to simplify financial information to enable understanding by non-financial colleagues.
9. Requirement to attend the office 4 days per week in line with company policy and business needs.
10. Demonstrates a strong sense of personal self-belief and integrity and a willingness to be an independent voice where necessary.
