The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales focus, a proven track record in event management, and the ability to cultivate lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities: Operations Management: Manage all sales and event planning activities, ensuring a seamless process from enquiry to execution.
Coordinate with departments to uphold high quality service standards during event execution.
Manage customer satisfaction post-event by handling feedback and resolving any issues promptly and effectively.
Perform day to day sales activity including lead generation, sales calls, contracting & rate negotiation and attendance at relevant events.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high lead-to-booking conversion rates.
Develop creative strategies to drive business and upsell services to existing clients.
Exhibit a positive, professional demeanor in client interactions across all platforms.
Brand Standards & Compliance: Ensure event execution aligns with the hotel's brand standards.
Stay well-versed in event technology, contract management, and relevant legal requirements to ensure compliance.
Skills & Experience: 2-3 years experience in a similar role Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities.
Ability to develop, manage and implement strategy and plans Thorough understanding of the importance of customer experience and uncompromising standards of excellence Strong organisational, strategic planning, negotiation and presentation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite In-depth knowledge of event technology, contract management, and legal requirements.
Ability to manage guest room and meeting space inventories effectively.
Highly organised, able to prioritise and handle a demanding workload.
