Job Title: Assistant Finance Funds Accounting Manager

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to step into a dynamic and rewarding role as an Assistant Finance Manager. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting fund operations while gaining exposure to a broad range of financial and investment activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-depth due diligence on loans and alternative investments.
* Review partnership agreements and ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Oversee loan administration, including interest calculations and repayments.
* Manage financial reporting and NAV reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
* Prepare accounting journals and quarterly reports for key stakeholders.
* Lead the year-end valuation process with external auditors.
* Ensure compliance with financial controls while driving process improvements.
* Take the lead on projects, mentor junior team members, and coordinate with tax advisors.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a Finance or Accounting degree.
* Proven experience in managing a finance team.
* At least 5 years' experience in Fund Accounting, including Private Market and Hedge products.
* Experience with Portfolio Management Systems is an advantage.

* Solid grasp of financial controls and regulatory compliance.
