Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Building Services Contracts Manager to join our growing Sustainability & Climate team in Kilkenny. This is a new position within the company and holds the potential to lead a complete business unit as we grow the business model. You will be working closely with experienced subject matter specialists to help our key clients deliver on a variety of exciting projects and leverage those relationships to develop new opportunities.

Working with an energetic and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
1. Supporting the Technical Team and managing the various M&E related subcontractors through their CDP design development, site installation, and commissioning, ensuring all works are fully coordinated and delivered in accordance with the contract programme.
2. Supporting or project managing decarbonisation projects for clients seeking to mitigate climate change by reducing emissions, achieving net zero, or achieving related climate transition risk objectives.
3. Building on Lawler Sustainability's leading reputation as a project delivery partner in the important work of decarbonising existing and new client sites.
4. Supporting resilience planning for clients by assessing their objectives in the context of projected changing climate, aligning with resilience planning, and interacting with key stakeholders.
5. Supporting senior colleagues in business development, including prospective and existing client liaison to enhance relationships, leading or contributing to successful proposals as well as commercial and technical review of proposals made by senior consultants as part of proposal approval.
6. Being the Project Manager accountable for engaging with and delivering climate change and emissions projects to our clients' satisfaction on a timely basis and within budget.
7. Identifying and helping to address and resolve project delivery challenges where required, for example negotiating variations with the client to scope.
What you will bring to the team:
1. Passion for our shared mission of improving the environment through re-engineering and integration of new and renewable technologies.
2. A degree or Trade in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a Project Management Qualification.
3. A proven track record over a minimum of five years of delivering engineering projects in the commercial and/or industrial sectors.
4. Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.
5. Good commercial skills.
6. Familiarity with engineering, safety, and building regulations to allow safe and timely delivery of projects.
7. Experience in vetting, appointing, and managing subcontractors.
