Cpl in partnership with our client Pfizer are seeking an Artwork Planning Co-Ordinator to join the team for an 11 month fixed term contract at their Newbridge site. This is an onsite based role.
Position Summary
Packaging Component Change Management ensuring the accurate creation, maintenance, and technical approval of all artworks, for packaging and associated documentation and systems in line with regulatory implementation timelines. Liaising with plant, markets and the outsourced artwork creation centre for all issues related to artwork changes and new artwork development to ensure the supply of packaged products to meet customer needs which are compliant with the Marketing Authorisations.
General Responsibilities
1. Ensure strict adherence to site policies/procedures, cGMP and environmental, health and safety regulations.
2. Execute responsibilities in line with Right First Time principles.
3. Ensure resolution of and/or appropriate escalation of issues.
4. Execution of the validated artworks system, for transactions and progress internal Requests for Artwork Amendment in a timely manner, maintaining regulatory compliance throughout.
5. Responsible for the technical review and approval of artwork components.
6. Creation of new components in SAP (Enterprise Resource Planning System) and generation of associated Purchasing Specifications.
7. Creation of new Bill of Materials and production versions in SAP, management of effectivity dates and generation of associated documentation to meet production needs.
8. Key site contact with Pfizer market contacts.
9. Generation of New Product Introduction Questionnaires and manage E2E activities in relation to artwork creation and launch to market.
10. Closely monitor tasks ensuring department metrics are adhered to.
11. Report to the department manager.
Specific Areas of Responsibility
Job specific accountabilities will be as per one or several of the following dependent on role assignment within the department:
Supporting Detail Artwork
1. Responsible for the creation of artwork briefs and completion Machine Compatibility Technical Reviews.
2. Site Liaison with artwork contractors / Pfizer Country Offices (PCOs); Global Packaging Services; Affiliate Packaging Quality Organisations (APQO); Global Labelling Operations (GLO); Global Product Teams Management of artwork implementation aligned with regulatory timelines.
Change Control
1. Documentation, Packaging and Artwork changes relating to change control (ePALMS CC; Site CC).
2. Creation and maintenance of records using ePALMS ensuring all 'implementation' dates are recorded and agreed with the impacted markets and site supply chain planners.
3. Ensure availability of specifications in line with production plans.
Specification Maintenance
Creation and Maintenance of the following GMP documents:
1. Packaging Specifications
2. Purchasing Specifications
3. New Product Introduction Questionnaires
4. Technical Checks on artworks and approvals
System Maintenance
Loading, Creating and Maintaining packaging and purchasing related data in SAP:
1. Bills of Materials
2. Material Masters
3. Production Versions
4. Purchasing Master Data
Inventory Management
1. Inventory Management & Implementation Date agreement.
2. Liaise with Planning team ensure plans are aligned to market demand profiles.
Technical Liaison
Technical liaison with Packaging Technology, Incoming Quality, Operations, Purchasing and Packaging Vendors.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Education:
1. Third level Qualification in Purchasing/Materials Management or business/science related area is preferred.
2. Exceptions may be considered where relevant experience and correct attitude and behaviour exist.
Experience
1. Minimum 2 years' experience in Manufacturing Planning / Supply Chain / Logistics.
2. Related work experience in Pharma industry an advantage.
3. Related experience/knowledge/understanding of artwork development.
4. Understanding of Regulatory requirements for Pharma industry.
5. Attention to detail, accuracy in record keeping and documentation.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
7. Good working knowledge of artworks and Adobe Suite applications.
8. Clear communicator and solution orientated.
9. Ability to identify and gather information necessary for effective decision-making.
10. Ability to effectively prioritise and handle multiple tasks.
11. Ability to coordinate project work as part of a team.
12. Service minded, reactive and rigorous.
