Senior Manager of Sales Strategy, Pre-Sales
As the Senior Manager of Sales Strategy & Operations, you will serve as the primary business partner to the Global VP of Pre-Sales. In this capacity, you’ll provide strategic counsel and ‘run the business’ support for all aspects of Pre-Sales globally. In partnership with the Global VP, this role is responsible for setting a growth strategy, executing it, and driving results.
What you’ll do:
* Serve as a ‘Trusted Advisor’ to Pre-Sales Leadership: Establish and maintain deep relationships with Pre-Sales and Sales Leadership. As a ‘Trusted advisor,’ pre-sales and sales leaders will seek you to provide ideas and hear your guidance on how to help the pre-sales organization achieve its goals and support sales growth.
* Translate Data into Insights & Action: Find the signal in the data, translate insights into clear narratives, and leverage those insights to create action plans that yield results.
* Build and Lead a world-class Sales Strategy team: Lead, develop, and nurture a top-tier sales strategy and operations analyst team.
* Run the Pre-Sales Business: Execute strategy and operations across HubSpot’s Solution Engineering and Sales Specialist organizations. Run regular business reviews, uncover and solve operational issues, and ensure the business is positioned to hit the plan.
* Drive multi-year strategic plans: Support the VP of Pre-Sales in creating the organization's future strategy and global go-to-market. Influence the strategy of the broader Sales Organization.
* Partner with Cross-Functional Leaders to Drive Company-wide Change: Interface heavily with cross-functional leaders in sales, customer success, finance, product, etc. Represent and influence Pre-Sales by working with and through other functions in the business.
Who you are:
* 7+ years in Strategy and Operations Leadership, preferably with 5+ years in B2B SaaS.
* Strong ability to collaborate and influence across the business.
* Clear thinker and compelling communicator – both verbal and written.
* Advanced understanding of sales finance, revenue forecasting, and various routes to market.
* Comfortable pivoting from high-level strategy to granular execution.
* Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
* Proven leadership capabilities, with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
* Team-oriented and quick to help a colleague.
