Job Title: Basic Grade Occupational Therapist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Occupational Therapy team. The successful candidate will work with children and adults with complex support needs, providing assessment, intervention, and evaluation of treatment programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of clients, providing assessment, intervention, and evaluation of treatment programmes
* Engage in interdisciplinary working with clinical teams to meet the person-centred needs of service users
* Complete environmental assessments to ensure accessibility for individuals with sensory and physical support requirements
* Carry out reviews of service users postural support needs and complete basic and complex seating assessments
* Promote purposeful engagement in self-care, leisure, and productive pursuits for all age profiles
* Facilitate evidenced-based group therapy programmes in line with assessed needs
* Provide detailed reports for internal/external stakeholders and maintain quality documentation
* Advise schools on how best to support service users sensory or learning needs
Requirements
* Hold a Degree/Masters in Occupational Therapy from a 3rd level institution
* Be registered with CORU or show proof of pending registration at application stage
* Knowledge of individual care planning and experience contributing to individual risk assessment
* Post-qualification work experience as an Occupational Therapist within disability services/mmental health services
* Evidence of commitment to continuous professional development (CPD)
