Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, is key to succeeding in this role. You will be joining a dynamic finance operations team which are striving to improve processes and question the norm. It is essential that the individual provides a consistent high-level of service in line with our company policies and procedures reflecting our corporate values and behaviours.What you will do:Compiles financial information to review and/or prepare journal entries, in an accurate and timely manner.Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner. Investigate and escalate any differences to the next escalation point.Assisting with the preparation of management accounts.Engage and liaise with auditors to support on-going audit requirements.Preparation of financial reports & coordinate month end close processes.Responsibility for the preparation and filing of VAT returns.Working closely with the SSC in Poland to ensure all invoices are posted and assist with any queries.Recommend, instigate or assist in process improvements.Assists with ad-hoc projects as they arise.Who you are:Minimum of 3 years accounting experience preferably with proven track record of supporting process improvement projects.Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills.Ability to resolve issues and propose solutions to issues that arise on a day-to-day basis.Ability to focus on multiple tasks, while meeting all internal and public company deadlines.Outstanding mathematical skills, because you will complete financial tasks that require fast and accurate calculations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to build positive working relationships at all levels within the organization.Second language (Spanish, French, Italian) seen as an advantage.Use of an ERP system with Workday Finance experience viewed as a major bonus.Excellent IT skills including Windows, PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills, which are a key requirement.Proven team working skills.Willing and capable to take on responsibility.
