My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for Finance Data Analyst to join a growing team on a permanent basis working on a hybrid model. The Finance Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting data quality initiatives by evaluating loan data and identifying opportunities for improvement across business systems and processes. The role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to address and resolve data-related issues and help deliver critical workstreams aligned with the broader data quality strategy.
Responsibilities
* Conduct detailed analysis of loan portfolios to assess the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
* Investigate and correct data issues in line with internal remediation guidelines.
* Provide support for rate change activities, including calculations, analysis, and implementation.
* Prepare and cleanse data for migration to new technology platforms within project deadlines.
* Assist in identifying system enhancements to improve data quality and operational efficiency.
* Work with stakeholders to monitor, report, and resolve data-related issues affecting their functions.
* Deliver training and support to teams impacted by data quality findings and process updates.
* Remain flexible and responsive to shifting priorities, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
Skills and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, Accounting, or a related field.
* Prior experience in financial services is advantageous, particularly with exposure to mortgage and consumer finance products.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong understanding of business processes and a keen eye for detail.
