Are you passionate about supporting cutting-edge biologics development? My client is seeking an Associate Scientist to join their Analytical Method Sciences team within the Biologics Analytical Methods & Strategy group.
This role focuses on providing Analytical Method Configuration support for the Empower Chromatography Data System—troubleshooting, creating, and maintaining master data to ensure seamless laboratory operations.
What You’ll Do:
* Troubleshoot and support Empower-related queries, escalating as needed
* Create and maintain Empower master data, executing appropriate change management processes
* Ensure compliance by executing and documenting change control procedures
* Communicate system changes to impacted areas (e.g., trending systems, MES)
* Collaborate with lab, manufacturing, IT, and analytical support teams
* Identify and implement efficiency improvements in lab testing operations
* Author, revise, and review SOPs, Work Instructions, and training content
* Stay up to date with system functionality and industry best practices
What You Bring:
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific, computer, or engineering discipline
* 1-3 years’ experience in the biopharmaceutical industry or equivalent education/experience
* Basic understanding of analytical techniques (separations, compendial assays, bioanalytical methods)
* Familiarity with Empower, databases, and/or Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
* Knowledge of cGMPs, regulatory requirements, and best practices
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
