Job Summary:
The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of exceptional client service and ensure that our key clients receive the highest standards of service. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of Private Equity Fund Accounting, and experience in developing and implementing business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Formulate and implement key client service programs
* Liaise internally with operational areas to ensure awareness of client requirements
* Evaluate service quality through regular client visits
* Assist in resolving complex client issues
* Manage escalations and complaints within the team and department
* Train and assist Account Managers in their teams' success
* Participate in procedure reviews and supervise Managers to ensure adherence
* Liaise with clients on reporting requirements and deadlines
* Continuously assess risks for funds under administration
* Identify issues and recommend company-wide solutions
* Manage operational risks and report monthly on status and development
* Demonstrate a proactive approach to industry and regulatory changes
* Lead projects related to business expansion and evolution
About You:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
* Professional accounting designation (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
* 7-10 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in Product Control, Operations, or Fund Accounting environments within PE
* Strong technical knowledge of Private Equity Fund Accounting
* Skills in negotiation, business planning, budgeting, margin analysis, rating agency relations, and technical accounting
* Familiarity with Investran or other Private Equity software packages
* Experience in developing, implementing, and optimising business processes and projects
* Knowledge of International GAAP/IFRS Accounting Principles
* Strong leadership and supervisory experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel
